The Leader of the Council provided the Council with an update of business discussed by the Cabinet at its meetings held on 16 and 23 March 2016 (for copy see file of Minutes).

Councillor Henig informed the Council that Cabinet on 23 March had resolved to defer making a final decision on proposed devolution agreement until outstanding issues were resolved.  He had met with the Leaders of the Council’s three main opposition Groups to inform them of the situation and would be happy to meet with any Members to discuss the issue.
