Report of Head of Overview and Scrutiny
Purpose of the Report
1. To update Members about the work programme for the Sub
Committee.
Background
2. The Work Programme pr ovides the opportunity to plan the work of the
SubCommittee. The programme, however, does change in response
to new issues which arise. The Wo rk Programme, therefore, provides
a guide in terms of forward pl anning and project management. The
timing of projects in the programme constantly needs to be adjusted.
There are a number of pr ojects which need to be reviewed, as set out
in the attached table.
Current Position
3. The project to examine the educat ional attainment of looked after
children has now concluded and the Working Group report is submitted
for consideration elsewhere on the agenda for this meeting. Members
will need to give consideration in the coming months to any future
scrutiny investigations they wish to undertake
