Report of Head of Overview and Scrutiny

Purpose of the Report

1 To report the sections of the Council ’s Forward Plan which are within the
Sub­Committee’s jurisdiction.

Background

2 Under the Constitution, the Execut ive is required to produce a Forward
Plan indicating key decisions covering a four­month period.

3 The key decisions relevant to this Sub­Committee included in the
Forward Plan are set out in t he attached documentation.

4 The information in the Forward Pl an provides the Sub­Committee with
the opportunity of consider ing whether it wishes to seek to influence any
of these key decisions or to seek further information.

5 If the Sub­Committee wishes to exam ine any of the key decisions, this
could be included in the Work Progra mme which needs to be considered.
