Report of Head of Overview and Scrutiny
Purpose of Report

1. To explain the attached annual report.

FOR THE ANNUAL REPORT PLEASE REFER TO HARD COPIES HELD IN THE CORPORATE SERVICES DEPARTMENT OR THE COUNTY RECORD OFFICE

Background

2. Under the County Council’s Constitution, an annual report of the work of Scrutiny is to be prepared.

3. The Health Scrutiny Sub-Committee has a degree of independence. It would be appropriate, therefore, for this Sub-Committee to have a specific annual report which summarises its work and could be circulated to appropriate bodies.

4. This report will be included in the County Council’s overall Scrutiny annual report in due course.

4. You are recommended to consider the attached annual report.
