Purpose of Report
1. To explain the Terms of Reference of this Sub-Committee.
Background
2. All local authorities now have detailed Constitutions which are public documents explaining how they operate.
3. The Council is required under the Constitution to appoint a Scrutiny Sub-Committee to fulfil the statutory Scrutiny role in respect of Health. There is a particular emphasis on seeking to secure health improvement in the County. The formal terms of reference of the Sub-Committee are attached to this report.
