The Corporate Equality Plan strengthens and formalises the Council’s commitment to equality of opportunity and builds on and extends what is laid out in the Race Equality Scheme. It sets out the actions necessary for the Council to progress through the Equality Standard for Local Government ESLG and is a key requirement to achieve Level 2 of the ESLG.
