A new Policy for administration of the Government’s Test and Trace Support Payments and the DCC Discretionary Test and Trace Support Payments.

The Policy sets out application of the Government’s Eligibility Criteria for assessment of applications for the Test and Trace Support Payments and proposes criteria for assessment of applications for the Discretionary Test and Trace Support Payments as follows:

·        Applicants should be in receipt of annual gross earnings of less than £27,971 and savings below £6000;

·        The Assessment Team will consider and treat each application on its own merits.

A Test and Trace policy has been written be facilitate these payments. This is attached to the report.

The Council will receive funding to administer these payments, though funding for the Discretionary element is fixed and limited.
