The Cabinet considered a report of the Assistant Chief Executive which provided details of the meeting held on 5 June 2013, which Cabinet considered the most recent report on the implications of the Coalition Government’s policy programme. This report provided Cabinet with an update on the major policy developments and announcements since then and analysed the implications for the council and County Durham (for copy see file of minutes).

That the recommendations contained in the report be approved.
