The Council considered a report of the Head of Legal and Democratic Services which advised of relevant new provisions of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 in relation to Coroners, which had been considered by the Constitution Working Group, and proposed delegations in the Constitution to deal with future appointments of Coroners in County Durham.
