The Cabinet considered a report of the Corporate Director, Regeneration and Economic Development which updated on developments and successes to date at the North East Technology Park (NETPark) and outlined opportunities to build on these achievements (for copy see file of minutes).

Members commented on the success story of NETPark which is growing from strength to strength, and 10 years after opening had 23 businesses on site with 400 jobs.

Resolved:

That the recommendations contained in the report be approved.
