The Cabinet considered a report of the Corporate Director, Neighbourhood Services which provided an update on progress made against the Council’s waste contracts one year on from implementation (for copy see file of minutes).

All those involved were congratulated on the achievements of almost eliminating landfill requirements in its entirety, whilst making significant savings.  Cabinet members commented that this was seen as one of the major achievements of the unitary authority, and welcomed the support given by residents.
