The Cabinet considered a report of the Assistant Chief Executive which updated the Cabinet on issues being addressed by the County Durham Partnership (CDP) including the board, the five thematic partnerships and all area action partnerships (AAPs).  The report also included updates on other key initiatives being carried out in partnership across the county (for copy see file of minutes).

Cabinet members spoke of the excellent partnership work taking place, on the success achieved through the Area Action Partnerships, and that through the work in setting up an armed forces forum which was to promote the help and support available to forces personnel the Council had received a silver award in the Ministry of Defences Employer Recognition Scheme.
