The Overview and Scrutiny Officer referred Members to recent press articles relating to the remit of Children and Young People’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee. The articles were:-
· Schools across the region set to lose out on almost £150m in funding
· Primary school pupils get to grips with internet safety
· Durham schools team up to fight intolerance through sport
· North East Children at risk from boozing and drug taking parents, worrying figures reveal
