A question had been received from a Sedgefield Village Action Group (SVAG) regarding the Energy Reduction Policy and whether the council considered the removal of street lighting from some vulnerable areas to be fit for purpose given the potential risk posed to pedestrians, cyclists and children. 

Councillor B Stephens, Portfolio Holder for Neighbourhoods and Local Partnerships provided an answer to the question. A copy of which would also be posted on the council’s website.
