Outline application with all matters reserved for 18no dwellings

The Committee considered a report of Senior Planning Officer regarding an outline application for 18no dwellings on land to the North East of Jubilee Terrace, Evenwood (for copy see file of Minutes).

The Senior Planning Officer gave a detailed presentation on the application which included a site location plan, photographs of the site area and an indicative site plan.

Councillor G Richardson felt that the application demonstrated good use for the land, however, he explained that he could not support the development due to the close proximity of the industrial unit and moved the recommendation to refuse the application.

Councillor C Martin agreed with the comments made by Councillor Richardson and seconded refusal of the application.

Resolved

That the application be refused.
