The Cabinet considered a report of the Corporate Director of Regeneration and Local Services which requested Cabinet to authorise the Head of Planning and Assets to make a proposal to the Secretary of State under Regulation 7 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 for a Direction which would operate to withdraw deemed consent for the display of Letting Boards within the Durham City Conservation Area (for copy of report see file of minutes).

Resolved:

That the recommendation in the report be approved.
