The Strategic Manager for Looked After Children and Permanence presented the weekly looked after children numbers (for copy of report see file of minutes). 

It was reported that, as at 13 July 2018, the number of looked after children was 808.  Members were reminded of the importance of analysing the trend information provided in the tables within the report, rather than simply focusing on the weekly numbers as this does not reflect the numbers of young people leaving care.
