The Licensing Team Leader confirmed that the Licence Holder was not in attendance at the meeting and attempts to contact him had failed. The
Committee therefore confirmed that the application would be determined in his absence.
The Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director of Adult Services to determine the ongoing suitability of a Hackney Carriage Driver (for copy, see file of minutes).
The Licensing Team Leader presented the Reports. Members were given the opportunity to ask questions.
At 13.10 a.m. the Sub-Committee retired to deliberate the application in private and at 13.15 p.m. the Chairman delivered the decision.
Resolved
That the Hackney Carriage Driver Licence be revoked as the Licence Holder was not deemed to be a fit and proper person.
