The Panel considered a report of the Head of Children’s Social Care, presented by

C Bell, Operations Manager which provided an update on the number of looked after children (for copy of report see file of minutes). 

The Operations Manager explained that a new reporting system has recently been migrated and, owing to the lag due to the deadline for the circulation of papers, the latest information at the time of report writing was, as at 22 January there were 819 looked after children.
