Minutes:
The Chairman welcomed the Licence Holder to the meeting and introductions took place.
The Sub-Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director of Adult Services to determine the ongoing suitability of a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence Holder (for copy see file of minutes).
The Licensing Team Leader presented the report and and the Licensing Enforcement Officer presented the Licensing Enforcement Team Report. An
additional document was handed out, following which Members and Officers were given the opportunity to ask questions. The Licence Holder was given the opportunity to ask questions.
A representative from Durham Constabulary confirmed that there was no further information to present to the Sub-Committee.
The Licence Holder was invited to address the Sub-Committee and he then responded to questions from Members and Officers.
At 2.00 p.m. the Sub-Committee retired to deliberate the application in private and at 2.10 p.m. the Chairman delivered the Sub-Committees decision.
Resolved:
That the Licence Holder be subject to a written warning for a 12 month period.
