Minutes:
Councillor Henig announced that there were changes proposed to Cabinet Members and Portfolios for the forthcoming year. Councillors J Brown and O Johnson would be leaving the Cabinet and Councillors A Patterson and A Surtees would join the Cabinet. Councillor Henig thanked Councillors Brown and Johnson for their work while serving as Cabinet Members.
Councillor Henig informed Council that the full details of Cabinet Portfolios and Support Members were as circulated, with Councillor J Clare, Cabinet Support Member for Economic Regeneration becoming the Council’s first Climate Change Champion.
This was a strong, highly experienced Cabinet which for the first time had a gender balance.
