Minutes:
The Chair introduced the Licence Holder to the meeting and introductions took place.
The Sub-Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director of Adult Services to determine the application for the grant of a Hackney Carriage Driver Licence (for copy see file of minutes).
The Licensing Enforcement Team Leader presented the reports Members and Officers were given the opportunity to ask questions. The Applicant was given the opportunity to ask questions.
A representative from Durham Constabulary confirmed that there was no further information to present to the Sub-Committee.
The Applicant addressed the Sub-Committee and then responded to questions from Members and Officers.
At 11.45 a.m. the Sub-Committee retired to deliberate the application in private and at 11.55 a.m. the Chair delivered the Sub-Committees decision.
Resolved
That the Hackney Carriage Driver Licence be granted as the Applicant was deemed to be a fit and proper person.
