Minutes:
The Chair welcomed the Licence Holder, his Supporter and Interpreter to the meeting and introductions took place.
The Committee considered the report of the Corporate Director of Regeneration and Local Services (for copy of report, see file of minutes).
The Licensing Team Leader presented the report. Members and the Licence Holder were given the opportunity to ask questions of the Officer.
The Licensing Enforcement Officer was in attendance and outlined the Licensing Enforcement report. Members and the Licence Holder were given the opportunity to as questions of the Officer.
Durham Constabulary were unable to attend the meeting but had confirmed that there was no trace on any of their systems.
The Licence Holder was invited to address the Sub-Committee and Members and Officers were given the opportunity to ask questions.
After Summing up, the Sub-Committee retired to deliberate the application in private at 3.10 pm. After re-convening at 3.25 pm, the Chair delivered the Sub-Committee’s decision.
Resolved: That no action be taken but the Licence Holder was asked to consider undertaking a locality test.
