The Cabinet considered a joint report of the Corporate Director of Regeneration and Local Services and the Corporate Director of Resources which sought agreement to the delivery of the proposed Western Relief Road (for copy see file of minutes).

Councillor Marshall in responding to a question from Councillor Wilkes advised that the report to Cabinet was the additional report that had been confirmed would be brought back that would provide more clarity in terms of the delivery should they be accepted by the inspector, and also additional information on financial costs and phasing of the road. Precise figures sought by the member would be provided as soon as possible once officers became available from the public examination process that was currently taking place.

That the recommendation in the report be approved.
