Minutes:
The Chairman welcomed the Applicant to the meeting and introductions took place.
The Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director of Adult Services to determine an application for a Private Hire Driver (for copy see file of minutes).
The Licensing Enforcement Officer presented the Licensing Enforcement Team Report. Members and Officers were given the opportunity to ask questions following both presentations, as well as the Applicant.
The Applicant was invited to address the Sub-Committee and he responded to questions from Members and Officers.
At 10.45 a.m. the Chair confirmed that the Applicant would receive a decision later that day and the Sub-Committee retired to deliberate the application in private.
Resolved:
That the Private Hire Licence be granted as the Applicant was deemed to be a fit and proper person.
