Minutes:
The Sub-Committee were advised that the Applicant had declined to attend the meeting and agreed for it to take place in their absence.
The Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director of Regeneration and Local Services to consider an application for the ongoing suitability of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver (for copy see file of minutes).
The Licensing Enforcement Officer presented the Licensing Enforcement Team Report and a representative of Durham Constabulary presented information relating to the matters outlined in the report. All parties were given the opportunity to ask questions.
At 10.10 a.m. the Sub-Committee retired to deliberate the application in private.
Resolved:
That the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver Licence be revoked with immediate effect as the Applicant was not deemed to be a fit and proper person.
