Two questions had been received from members of the public.

The first question was asked in person by Dr Lawrence Welch on behalf of ‘Keep our NHS Public North East’ and asked what County Durham was doing to prevent ‘the steady and insidious NHS privatisation process. The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Adult and Health Services provided a response to the question, which would be posted on the Council’s website.

The second question asked what percentage of new build had renewable systems of electricity supply and/or heating systems approved at the planning stage. The questioner was unable to attend the remote meeting, but the Cabinet Portfolio Holder would respond to the question in writing following the meeting, and the response would be posted on the Council’s website.
