Minutes:
The Chair welcomed the Licence Holder and his supporter to the meeting and introductions took place. The Legal Officer explained the procedure.
The Sub-Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director of Regeneration and Local Services to consider an application for the ongoing suitability of a Hackney Carriage Driver (for copy see file of minutes).
The Licensing Enforcement Officer presented the Licensing Enforcement Team Report and all parties were given the opportunity to ask questions.
A witness was called to the hearing and all parties were given the opportunity to ask questions. The witness left and did not return to the meeting.
The Licence Holder and his supporter addressed the Sub-Committee with regards to matters outlined in the report and all parties were given the opportunities to ask questions.
At 2.50 p.m. the Sub-Committee retired to deliberate the application in
private.
Resolved:
That the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver Licences be revoked as the Licence Holder was not deemed to be a fit and proper person.
