The Clerk asked for nominations for the election of Mayor for the ensuing municipal year 2021/22.
Councillor M Wilkes moved and Councillor A Hopgood seconded that Councillor Arnie Simpson, be appointed Mayor of Durham for the ensuing municipal year.
Resolved:
That Councillor Arnie Simpson be duly appointed as Mayor of Durham for the ensuing municipal year 2021/22.
