The Head of Early Help, Inclusion and Vulnerable Children informed the Panel that the total number of children looked after and young people stood at 1,031, with 44 children placed for adoption. The number of unaccompanied asylum seeking young people continues to increase.
The Panel agreed to consider the quarterly performance update as the next item of business.
