The Mayor asked for nominations for the election of Mayor.
Councillor L Brown moved and Councillor J Blakey seconded that Councillor L Mavin, be appointed Mayor of Durham for the ensuring municipal year.
Resolved: That Councillor L Mavin be duly appointed as Mayor of Durham for the ensuring municipal year 2023/24.
