The Chair welcomed the licence holder to the meeting and the parties introduced themselves.

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Corporate Director of Neighbourhoods and Climate Change regarding the ongoing suitability of the licence holder to continue to be licensed as a joint driver (for copy of report, see file of minutes).

M Haigh, Senior Licensing Enforcement Officer, outlined the report and he referred the Sub-Committee to the character reference received in respect of the licence holder which was received after the papers for the meeting were circulated.

The licence holder then addressed the Sub-Committee and answered questions from the parties.

All parties then summed-up and the Sub-Committee (Councillors D Brown,    L Brown and R Potts) retired to deliberate the matter in private at approximately 2.30 pm. 

On re-convening at approximately 2.45 pm, the Chair delivered the                     Sub-Committee’s decision.

Resolved:                         

That the licence holder be issued with a written warning for a period of three months.
