The Cabinet considered a report of the Corporate Director of Regeneration and Economic Development that presented the Barnard Castle Regeneration Masterplan for approval (for copy see file of Minutes).

The Regeneration Masterplan provided the detailed programme of activity that was taking place or was planned in Barnard Castle by the Council and its’ partners.  It provided the strategic context to delivery and sought to establish key principles to co-ordinate and guide this activity, and was one of a series of similar Masterplans that were being established for principal towns across the County.

Resolved:

That the recommendations contained in the report be approved.
