The Panel considered a report of the Monitoring Officer which provided information on the development of the Panel’s work programme. The Overview and Scrutiny Manager gave a presentation outlining the key responsibilities, deadlines, responding to the needs of the Panel and review of topics (for copy of report and slides of presentation see file of Minutes).

Members suggested topics for training, discussed the Panels relationship with its partners and welcomed officers compiling the work programme.

Members agreed that the venues for future meetings of the Police and Crime Panel be held at Durham County Council and Darlington Borough Council offices.

Resolved:

That the recommendations contained in the report be approved.
