The Specialist Inspector for Religious Education presented the report on the possible Durham SACRE Art Competition (for copy see file of minutes).

Members discussed the art competition which could be a picture, painting or collage of a stained glass window produced by primary schools. Members asked if funding would be available for the competition. The Specialist Inspector for Religious Education responded that she was optimistic that some funding would be available.

Members discussed the possibility of the entries being displayed in the Chapel at the Cathedral which could be officially opened by the Dean.
