Committee details

Under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 the two local authorities in the Durham Constabulary force area have a statutory duty to create a Police and Crime Panel. The panel will scrutinise and support the work of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC). The Commissioner will be elected on 15 November 2012 and take office from 22 November 2012.
