24/03/2025 - NCC 3716 - Serve notice under Section 291 of Highways Act 1980 to enable completion of reinstatement work following demolition of Leazes footbridge (Table 7 Paragraph 9) (Part A)
That the Council enter onto a private landowner’s land to enable the following work to be undertaken following the demolition of Leazes Footbridge:
· Reconstruction of boundary wall between private land and highway including erection and removal of temporary scaffold.
· Importing topsoil and mulch to landscape verge to front face of boundary wall.
· and Legal Services are instructed to ensure that the necessary legal formalities are completed.
