The works currently taking place on North Road are 24 hours a day. This includes the use of angle grinders, pneumatic drills and other power tools between the hours of 11pm and 7am. Often, no work is undertaken during the day and they begin during the night, making it impossible for residents to sleep. Given the long duration of the works it is unreasonable that noisy works are carried out during the night, especially when they are idle during the day.
