Keep our sport alive, open some waste land for off road motorbikes

We the undersigned petition the Council to Keep our sport alive, give us somewhere to ride our bikes. Open some waste land in the east Durham area and charge a fee per bike. This in turn, will save public money because the police won’t be hassled with complaints from local residents complaint thaybbikes are been a nuisance.

The police are always posting on social media about off road bikes in the peterlee end seaham areas.
this is giving this sport even more negative publicity.
The law obiding bikers like myself are the ones to suffer. I have to travel a 6 hour round trip to take my son out on our bikes on a sunday, do golfers have to travel so far afield? Let’s stop crushing bikes and give people somewhere to ride them.
The current approach is not working, so let’s try something different and open somewhere safe to ride!
We could open class’s to learn children how to ride safely, use volunteers to run the venue and make a business for the council by charging a small fee per bike!
