Save Abbey Sports Centre
We the undersigned petition the Council to enable Abbey Sports Centre to remain open as a community resource supporting the health and well being of the local community.
The Abbey Sports Centre is a well used local amenity that brings together all sections of the community. It sits in a highly populated area of Durham and also has within it's site a skateboard park, small playpark and a multi sports outdoor play area. It is adjacent to Newton Hall Community Centre and Bowls Club.
