Consultation process
Consultation was carried out following 17 January 2018 Cabinet approval including a survey, drop in sessions, focus groups, presentations to AAPs, and consultation with other heritage organisations. Consultees included: Friends groups, owners of archives, AAPs, DLI Trustees, DLI Association, Durham Miner's Association, volunteers, local history societies, local heritage organisation. Further consultation will be carried out as the project progresses using similar methods and similar consultees.
