NEFirst Credit Union is a sustainable and profitable credit union providing savings and loan accounts for its members for more than twenty years. Operating across the whole of the North East, including County Durham, Northumberland and all of the boroughs that make up Tyne and Wear (Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, North Tyneside and South Tyneside).

NEFirst Credit Union was formed by the merger of over 20 smaller local community-based Credit Unions coming together to form a modern vibrant credit union that puts its members at the heart of everything they do.  The credit union continues to organically grow and develop to meet the needs of individuals and families providing ethical financial services to the whole community.
