Pelton Fell is an old mining village situated one mile West of Chester-le-Street in County Durham. It is built on the land which rises above the Cong Burn and dates from the mid-nineteenth century. Since 2004, the village has been redeveloped through a housing led regeneration programme and this included the refurbishment of the old village hall into The Brockwell Centre.
Pelton Fell has a strong community network with many community groups involved in a variety of activities. Pelton Fell Community Partnership (PFCP) is one of the partners in this community network.
