Outside body

Lanchester Bowling Club was founded in 1982.  Bowls are played on the attractive green in Lanchester, Co Durham, from May to September each year.

The club is a member of the North West Durham League and the Derwentside Veterans League and matches are played in these leagues 4 times a week (Monday, Tuesday and Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings).  The club also plays several friendlies each year with teams in the area, including a match against a Bowls Durham Presidents' team.
