Newbiggin and District Village Hall Association

Description

The Hall was built in 1929 on land bought from the Raby Estates and is a registered charity, administered by trustees.

 

The Management Committee acknowledges the generous donations and funding from various sources that have made enormous improvements possible, and the hall an great asset to the people of upper Teesdale.

 

The Hall is always buzzing with activity, whether it be a Computer class, Mother and Toddler group, Lino-cutting class or Exhibition and is very widely used.

 

Other community events held at the hall include Training classes, Farmers discussion group, Children's parties, Flower arranging, Exercise classes, Skills updating, UTSG functions, Tea/supper events, W. I. meetings, Parish Council, Domino drives and lots more besides.
