Eligibility

People aged between 11 and 21 who live in the civil parish of Stanhope. Eligibility is dependent on parental income.

Type of grants

Grants are primarily awarded on a recurrent basis to students going to college or university for help with fees/living expenses and books.  Students from low-income families receive larger grants and one-off grants can also be given to younger pupils attending secondary school towards the cost of uniforms, other clothing, books, and so on.
