Statutory Licensing Committee

Purpose of committee

The Statutory Licensing Committee is made up of 15 Members of the County Council. The main functions of the Committee are to review and make recommendations to Council on policies in relation to licensing matters under the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005, and to discharge the Council’s functions as a Licensing Authority in accordance with these Acts.
